Removed from the sewers, as of today:

• 18 bodies of the aggressors, all have been identified as citizens of Gondolin, further information has been attached.


• Several bladed objects, assumed to be the methods used to drain the victims of their blood.


• 3 bottles of a sedative-like substance.


• Chains, presumably used to restrain victims. One set of broken chains.


• One altar.


• One map of the entire sewer system, with various markings. Guards have been dispatched to inspect the marked areas for further evidence.


• One unfinished manifesto, 'The Dreams Of The City', for further perusal.


• One giant lizard thing, unrelated.

Added notes: The high death toll is the result of the aggressors choosing to fight to the death rather than be taken alive. It is fortunate that no guard sustained a fatal injury.

However, I have noted from a perusal of the lives of the aggressors, that very few were warriors and most were in fact artists of various stripes. Whether this is relevant, I do not know. I do know that that altar was created by someone with talent, but a sick mind.

Lord Feanor continues to request we destroy the altar, but I believe it should be studied further, in conjunction with the manifesto, but of course that is your own decision, sir.

What is is about ambition that it never is attained during the easy, simple times, when everything is running smoothly? What is it about promotion that it comes to you in the moments when you hardly want it, even though you know that you are bound to accept anyway? Can no one attain anything without some other type of crisis or tragedy to prompt it. I do not mind doing my duty, but this is hardly how I would have accepted a temporary elevation were it my choice. ( in which Ravion is shown some corpses and he and Gwaedhon attempt some investigation )

Were it my place, I would not have this happen at all, but somehow because it is not, I will see what I can do with it.
