I can think of better ways to be awakened.

I moved in with Theo. It made sense, with us both being single. Cuts down on expenses. Things are going pretty well so far, other than the cat...issue. At least he likes me. I shudder to think what he'd leave on my face if he hated me.

Dagnir: *brings a welcome gift of a dead squirrel and places it with ceremony on Boromir's sleeping face after getting in through the window*

Boromir: *sniffs deeply, groans and sits up, horrified* What in the blue hell???! *flings squirrel across the room* I locked the damned door! *looks around the room for his knife*

Dagnir: *annoyed meow, that was a GOOD squirrel*

Boromir: *finds his knife and holds it out* HOW did you get in?

Dagnir: *glances at the window*

Boromir: *glances at the lock on the window* It was locked. I bought the lock myself after Theo said you'd find a way inside. I'm getting a new one tomorrow morning.

Dagnir: *headbutts the squirrel towards Boromir*

Boromir: *looks at the squirrel, then back at the cat, then realizes* Oh...did you mean this as a gift instead of some sort of horrid awakening ritual?

Dagnir: *headbutts it closer* meow.

Boromir: *eyes it with trepidation* Uh...thanks? *picks it up with 2 fingers and puts it on the bedside table*

Dagnir: *closes his eyes in pleasure and mrowls loudly*

Boromir: *unsure of what to do, looks round the room and spots a ball of twine. rolls it to Dagnir* Cats like balls of stuff, right?

Dagnir: *pounceattacks it*

Theo: *knocks* I heard yelling...

Boromir: It's your cat. He left a dead animal on my face. *wipes his face with his blanket*

Theo: *glares at Dagnir*

Dagnir: *on his back tossing the ball of string in the air with his paws*

Boromir: I locked the window, but he still got in somehow. *frowns* I don't dislike cats, but I do dislike dead animals being left on my face in the middle of the night.

Theo: I'm sure he was just being welcoming *checks the window* oh! The frame's not right.

Boromir: I'll fix it in the morning. I don't want to wake up with a dead rabbit wrapped around my left arm. Welcoming or not, dead stuff is creepy.

Theo: *nods* I'm sorry *grabs up Dagnir* bad, bad cat!

Dagnir: mrooooowwWWWWwlll *horrible face*

Theo: *goes out holding the cat, scolding him and forgets about the dead squirrel*

Boromir: *stares at the dead squirrel, then decides to put it outside on the windowsill until he can figure out how to properly dispose of it in the morning* ugh. Don't think I'll be sleeping much tonight.

Dagnir: *thinks he did a good deed*
