Idril: *comes up to see turgon a bit later, stopping to wave at Gel* hey

Gelgannel: he's busy right now, Idril.

Idril: ah. Busy for me, too?

Gelgannel: *quiet* he's taking a nap

Idril: oh. That's not like him... is he ill?

Gelgannel: he had a bit too much to drink last night

Idril: oh. I guess, see that he eats something, would you? And let him know I stopped by.

Gelgannel: I will, Idril. Do you want to do something tonight?

Idril: oh. Something like what?

Gelgannel: dinner? Music? Theatre?

Idril: like a date? *surprised look at him*

Idril: but you know I'm seeing Yaban.

Gelgannel: exclusively?

Idril: we haven't discussed that...

Gelgannel: well... *lets it hang in the air*

Idril: you think it's a good idea, even if we're not exclusive?

Idril: ...mmn. I'll ask him first. He's still uncomfortable around you

Idril: are you still working all hours?

Idril: that's not what I asked. Dad may let you off at six, but do you actually leave?

Gelgannel: yes. I'm making myself do it. Like I said. *maybe three out of seven days*

Idril: well, good. Have you gone to the festival yet?

Gelgannel: I didn't get the chance yesterday. I was *doing paperwork* catching up on my reading

Idril: hm. Well, you should try to make it out. Dad has some fun rides this time.

Gelgannel: we could go

Idril: you'd want to go with me? *thinking, since they broke up at the last one*

Gelgannel: Yeah. I would

Idril: *shrugs* okay. It's harmless enough

Gelgannel: great!

Idril: *little smile* now to go see yaban...

Gelgannel: *frowns, but it's quickly gone* good luck

Idril: thanks. *waves and saunters off*

Gelgannel: *admires as she leaves*

I really like Yaban, but sometimes I do wonder what it would be like to be back with Gel...
