Fëanor: *goes prowling through the city, looking for Celegorm's new home*
Celegorm: *is outside in the yard doing some pruning, and filling in holes dug by Huan*
Fëanor: *turns down that street and spies him*
Celegorm: *snips the top off a bush and stands back to admire his work* Perfect.
Fëanor: *doesn't mean to sneak up, but is kind of stealthy* Turkafinwë.
Celegorm: *jumps and whips around* Ahh! Father! *grins* Hi...
Fëanor: Hello! *smiles* I've come to visit!
Celegorm: *puts down his sheers and goes to hug him* Good to see you...how have you been?
Fëanor: Very well! And busy! *returns the hug*
Celegorm: Oh? Busy doing what?
Fëanor: Oh, I am working on surveillance equipment. *airily*
Celegorm: Oh, like to spy on someone. Turgon, perhaps?
Fëanor: Perhaps! *has bigger fish to fry; thinking of how to get surveillance on Morgoth* Once I perfect that, I might work on flying vehicles. I think they're called planes?
Celegorm: *folds his arms over his chest* Really? But where would you go? The plane, or whatever it is, needs to be larger than those giant eagles or you'll be eaten.
Fëanor: Good point. I'll remember that.
Celegorm: *chuckles* Would you like to come in? I have some of that new lemonade stuff with the alcohol in it. It's refreshing.
Fëanor: Oh, yes, I'd love to.
Celegorm: *holds the door open for him* Just sit anywhere. Lio has the place fixed up nicely, doesn't he? *gets two drinks from the fridge*
Fëanor: *settles down on a comfy chair* It's very nice, yes... *looking around*
Celegorm: *hands him a drink and sits* Huan likes it, and it's bigger than our old place.
Fëanor: Thank you. *glances around for Huan* Does he have his own room?
Celegorm: Oh yes. I certainly don't want him sharing our room. That would be...awkward.
Fëanor: *does not want to consider this awfulness* Yes, I'd imagine. This is much bigger than the old house.
Celegorm: You know...he's not the only animal here who talks. There are quite a few, and I find that both curious and disturbing. We need to be mindful of what we say.
Fëanor: *nods, frowning* Yes. That cat.
Celegorm: So you know him, then? He left his kittens here. *makes a face* They're cute, but I don't trust them.
Fëanor: He's Theoden's cat. I don't trust him, not one bit.
Celegorm: Can't you tell Theoden to get rid of him? That boy likes you, right?
Fëanor: He does. >.>
Celegorm: Then tell the kid to get rid of the cat. That'll be one problem solved. Of course, there are the kittens...
Fëanor: He's very attached to the cat.
Celegorm: I've seen that cat. I have a hard time believing anyone could be attached to that little ball of rage.
Fëanor: Actually, the cat is plotting to get rid of me.
Celegorm: *alarmed* Then we need to get rid of it first!
Fëanor: Wait, no. Just in Theoden's life. He wants to break us up.
Celegorm: Oh. *considers aiding the cat* Then, nevermind. Let's just try to keep him away from us.
Fëanor: Good plan.
Celegorm: *does NOT want to ask about Theo* Tell me more about the spy system.
Fëanor: Actually, I am testing it on the cat. I made a collar with a built in camera, and am recording him.
Celegorm: *intrigued* Nice! What have you found out so far.
Fëanor: Nothing too exciting yet. Just seeing people on their daily business in the city. But something useful may turn up.
Celegorm: Keep me posted. I wish he'd wander into Turgon's office.
Fëanor: I am considering adding cameras, if this one continues working.
Celegorm: Where? I think the guardhouse would be a nice choice. Maybe one near the public market.
Fëanor: Both of those places. I just need to get one small enough. And.... I was hoping to get one in Turukano's office.
Celegorm: *grins* Excellent. I can probably help with that. Mae likes crafting. I can get him to make another clay figure large enough to hide a camera inside.
Fëanor: *grins back* Very good. That would work.
Celegorm: I'll get on it. I need to pay Aredhel a visit anyway. Thankfully, there's been no sign of Eol so far.
Fëanor: Yes, I've heard about him. Bad news.
Celegorm: You have no idea. *sighs* I suppose you've found no more silmarils?
Fëanor: No, not yet. Another thing the cameras are for.
Celegorm: *nods, relieved* I'm glad you are keeping busy.
Fëanor: I am. *is worried about Theoden though, but Celegorm is not the person to talk to about this*
Celegorm: *grins and pats his father's shoulder* You seem happy, and that's what matters.
Fëanor: I am, for the most part. *sighs*
Celegorm: For the most part?
Fëanor: I wonder about your other brothers. And your mother. If they are well.
Celegorm: So do I, but I have to assume that if they are not here, they are somewhere safe. It does no good to imagine the worst.
Fëanor: *nods* Of course you're right. Still... *has a morbid side*
Celegorm: I'm always right.
Fëanor: *laughs*
Celegorm: *grins* That's better.
Celegorm: *is outside in the yard doing some pruning, and filling in holes dug by Huan*
