Winter festival is here!

Despite the many, many distractions on the part of the people who presumably run this city, the Winter Festival is here!

Too warm for ice skating, but there is an ice sculpture contest as well as the usual animals on display (this year we have a walrus), and the many many different kinds of festival food!

Also available are many vendor booths, very good if you want a special winter coat or some other craftwork.

Spoil my fantasy. I was picturing him sitting in a chair with his arms crossed and a sour look on his face.

It's going to be a shame losing a good hunter, but he can get his privileges back eventually.

No problem. It wasn't worth the trouble to put him in a cell, and that's the most I could think of. He'd probably have broken out and tried to take over the city.

I told you to come up with another punishment besides the privileges, did anything come to you?

Yeah. A few weeks in a cell. Give him the firm idea that spying on the king is a no-no.

Yeah. Lil' treason, like I said. What, you think a cell was too harsh? Or too little?

The punishment for treason has always been death.

*takes Lio's arm* I would never ask you to kill Celegorm. I would put that on my own calendar under 'me time.'

Okay, real answer. I didn't think spying on me with a cat was death-worthy. Especially since it was just to see if I was with his brother. But there wasn't actually any other word for it, until we settled on stupidity.

Is THIS why you went all quiet during that?

When you called it treason, and said you didn't want to deal with it yourself... what else was I supposed to think?

Well, that I hate dealing with Celegorm, I thought. Lio! We're best friends! I'd never do that to you.

And when I said those things about Maglor stopping me, I meant that he didn't want me to get into a huge fight with his brother. I just... used hyperbole. Like I usually do about my cousin.

Well, no, I know that. But it was a minor treason, like I was trying to say. I was joking with the death comments because that seems to be how I visualize Celegorm.
