Celegorm: *knocks on the door to Aredhel's rooms, holding a bag of stuff*

Aredhel: *opens the door and grins* Cele! *wraps her arms around him in a hug* Come in, come in!

Celegorm: *hugs her back tightly* Hi! It's great to see you! *looks around* Where's Mae? I brought something for him.

Aredhel: Oh? *kisses his cheek and goes in with him* Mae! He's been playing hide and seek today. Mae, it's Uncle Celegorm!

Maeglin: ( FAVORITE UNCLE ALERT )

I love seeing my Cele so happy. And it would certainly be nice to have him living so much closer! Mae would adore that.

((I was reminded after writing this that Maeglin now does have a dog and a fish! Sorry, Celegorm!))

The worst part of my job

Unfortunately, I had to arrest some of my own guards for arson today. It was disappointing, and I know Theo was upset, but it had to be done.

Theo: *filling out the paperwork for his patrol that day when Boromir returns to the guardhouse*

Boromir: *walks into Theo's office and sits down on the edge of his desk* Theo.

Theo: *looks up from the share desk for his shift* 'lo. How was your looking about?

I get that Turgon was angry and I understand why. The thing is, I'm not a liar. I told him I had a spy, and he didn't want to know about it.

I'll remind him, if he doesn't remember on his own. Still. Annoying.

Turgon: *staring morosely at his paperwork*
Ecthelion: *has gone back to work; part-time, of course; sitting at his desk happily*
Turgon: *rings*
Ecthelion: *still not used to the phone; almost drops it; then speaks cautiously into it* Hello?
Turgon: I gave you permission. Didn't I?
