*takes a seat* I suppose you have people coming in from all over. Elves, most likely, but men, too. I may not be as tall or strong as an Elf, but I more than make up for any physical shortcomings with an excellent analytical mind and an ability to strategize. I led my father's guard for several years before I arrived here.

*picks up a pen and starts writing all this down* I hope you don't mind that I'm taking notes. This is all excellent. You won't be the first human who has joined the Guard, and we definitely could use someone with experience. Actually, you sound VERY experienced.

*nods* My friend Dred is a guard and his f-...and Theo is also a guard. I knew them both in my old life in Gondor.

I'm also trained in archery, swordfighting and hand-to-hand combat. My riding skills are second to none. I will serve in any way you see fit. If I cannot protect Gondor, I want to protect Gondolin.

Oh good, you already know Theodred and Theoden. *writing all this down* We'll need to get you a horse, if you haven't one already. I'd like to get you on duty right away. We've got a unit doing sword training this afternoon, if you can jon them. And tomorrow morning, we have a patrol going out to the city walls. I'd like you to try you hand at a few things, so we can see where you fit best. *thoughtfully* If things work out, I'd like to put you in charge of a few units - I need the help, for sure.

*smiles* I have my own horse, Aenil. Arkano gave it to me, and she seems to be suited to guard duty.

I'll join the unit for training this afternoon and will make plans to be here early tomorrow morning. *stands* I appreciate the opportunity...and I won't let you down. *feels pleased with how that went*
