I like Finrod, SURE HOPE NOTHING HAPPENS TO HIM
Turgon: *sitting at a cafe watching ten platypi wiggle by*
Finrod: Are you sure the whole city isn’t just a zoo?
Turgon: I honestly can't answer that. Do you want to try and catch them?
Finrod: They are cute...
Turgon: *calls for a basket and grabs them in hand*
Platypi: *FLEE*
Platypi: *not so fast on land*
Finrod: *picks one up and strokes with a finger*
Platypus: *makes whatever noise they make and struggles*
Turgon: *carefully basketing them*
Finrod: *puts his in the basket too*
Turgon: That's all of them. Want to retrace their steps in case there's strays?
Finrod: Sure.
Turgon: So, have you spoken with Lio yet about the guard? *carries noisy basket gently*
Finrod: What about the guard?
Turgon: Boromir.
Finrod: Ohhhh. Not yet. That is, he knows all of what happened, but we didn’t go into what to do about it?
Turgon: *finds a baby and picks it up* Oh my gosh.
Finrod: *peers over his shoulder*
Turgon: *holds it out* Look!
Turgon: We could have the human executed. *not serious*
Finrod: Very cute!
Finrod: That's rather drastic.
Turgon: Teach who's in charge!
Finrod: To be fair, he's probably never seen me before. Still, problematic.
Turgon: What are you going to suggest to Lio? *heading towards the animal sanctuary now, determined they've found all the platypi*
Finrod: I don't know. I think I will just let him decide.
Turgon: Humans. They're quite fearless when they want to be.
Finrod: *grins* Fearless, yes.
Turgon: You weren't too insulted, were you?
Finrod: A little insulted, but I'll live. Disagreeing with a direction is one thing, but purposefully acting contrarily...
Finrod: Humans seem very impetuous.
Turgon: It's because they have such a short time. They don't think it over as much.
Finrod: You must be right. Surely you would have done as I did.
Turgon: *nod* It would have been foolish to send so few down into unknown territory when you knew there were more.
Finrod: That must be why you're the Wise not the Vain. *grins*
Turgon: I do understand how he was anxious to bring the killers to justice, however.
Finrod: *nods* I don't mind his fervour.
Turgon: I'm just glad we didn't end up with more deaths on our hands that night.
Finrod: Me too. I would rather have NOT had to pull rank to achieve that, but... *shrug*
Turgon: I trust you and Lio to be able to smooth out the bumps.
Turgon: You're both reasonable men.
Finrod: I am sure we will!
Turgon: *finally at the zoo* Time to drop off our newest guests.
Turgon: You still can't have a penguin.

And no, Idril3 is currently all the extra Idril I can handle. Mae keeps trying to kidnap the puppy out of its pen and nom on its little puppy skull.
