I need to listen to the city again...
Theoden: *finishing up his patrol and sewer guarding, not enjoying these extra shifts at all*
Fëanor: *walking around the city; pausing at various spots to look around*
Theoden: *notices some familiar bodylanguage in front of him and follows behind to give (hopefully) Fëanor a surprise*
Fëanor: *crouching low to study some tiles*
Theoden: boo
Fëanor: *disappointingly, doesn't even flinch* Hello Theo. *straightens and turns*
Theoden: is there something on the ground? *peers around Fëanor, hand on Fëanor's waist to steady himself as he turns enough to be on one foot*
Fëanor: No, not that I can see.
Theoden: then what were you looking for? *stands back normally, hand still on Fëanor's waist*
Fëanor: I felt something here... I just wanted to look around, in case I saw something.
Theoden: felt? What are you up to, I thought you never left your workshop if you could help it
Fëanor: I leave my workshop quite often... >.>
Theoden: and never to visit me?
Theoden: actually, do you even know where I live? *tugs Fëanor towards a coffee shop*
Fëanor: No, I don't think so... *allows Theo to tug him*
Theoden: It's not terribly impressive, but in the summer it will have a nice garden.
Fëanor: Sounds nice.
Theoden: and I'll bring some flowers for your workshop. *gets them coffee*
Fëanor: I'd like that.
Theoden: Mm. I'm glad I get to see you today. I had such a long shift, I was just gonna go home and sleep
Fëanor: *sips his coffee* How long have you been working?
Theoden: I don't think the sun had risen all the way when I started
Theoden: or at all
Fëanor: That IS a long day...
Fëanor: Have you found any... clues?
Theoden: No *chin in hand* I mean, I've helped the case, but I haven't had much luck now and I'm too smart to try and make a startling breakthrough by slipping into the sewers. I don't want to die a mysterious death in sewage
Fëanor: That would be unpleasant. Plus, it would be easy to be attacked down there.
Theoden: exactly. I figure if I did find them, I'd die, be dumped, and eventually wash out wherever the waste goes
Fëanor: Let's hope that doesn't happen.
Theoden: it won't, because I'm smart enough not to go down a manhole on my own. I plan to life out my natural lifespan
live out
Fëanor: I approve of this plan. *sips his coffee and grins*
Theoden: I thought it was a good choice. So you've been going around the city?
Fëanor: *nods* I like walking around. But... I've been getting bad feelings.
Theoden: the you're worried bad feeling or the 'burn the city down' bad feeling?
Fëanor: *gives him a Look* There is something very wrong in this city. I can feel it.
Theoden: *does his best to look cute back, but so tired* ah, that would be the murderers. There's more than one doing the killing. Surprise. Yay. They travel in packs
Fëanor: *nods* Yes, but it's more than just the murderers. I think.
Theoden: oh? *sets his coffee down and listens*
Fëanor: *nods* I can't explain more... but something is very wrong.
Theoden: what kind of can't are we using? *curious*
Fëanor: I don't know what it is. I can't explain further.
Theoden: *little nod and sips his coffee* the captain seems stressed.
Fëanor: Well, understandable.
Theoden: besides the whole stopping murdering thing, right and wrong, I wish I could find anything helpful to help him. *frowns*
Fëanor: Well, I will keep looking and if I find anything, I'll show you.
Theoden: thanks. *grins at Fëanor*
Fëanor: *smiles* You're welcome.
Theoden: maybe I should go to your place instead of home. Dagnir'll be fine with just Dred...
Fëanor: I can cut my walk short if you'd like...
Theoden: that would be nice. I don't think I'll get a chance to see a lot of you in general until we catch the killers, so... *tugs Fëanor's hand to his lips to kiss*
Fëanor: *smiles* Alright, come along then.
Theoden: *gets up, still holding onto Fëanor's hand* I'm glad I made a move on you.
Fëanor: I enjoyed it. *grins*
Theoden: good. That part's important
Fëanor: *walks with him* I'm still enjoying it.
Theoden: *happy smile* very good
I will get back to my walk later.
