Dagnir: *hides out in Nuala's apartment as a place to stash the kittens after... an incident*

Dagnir: *finishes putting kittens in her sock drawer*

Nuala: *comes into her room and stares* … What are you doing?

Dagnir: they get drowned! I hide


Kittens: *panicked mewing*

Nuala: Someone tried to drown them?! *comes over to the drawer and sticks her hand in to try and help calm the kitties*

Dagnir: they drown all my kind! *incredibly upset* They say, 'black numenoreans bad. They kill all of them' and then they realize my kittens, they black numenoreans!

Nuala: Who's doing this?

Dagnir: humans! Bad humans! Gondorians! Elves!

Kittens: *relaxing under her petting*

Dagnir: I hide kittens here. They safe?

Nuala: Of course.

Dagnir: *relaxes and huddles miserably*

Baini: *sad little mew* I sorry

Nuala: *picks her up and holds against her chest* Don't you worry now. You're safe here. *scratches Dagnir behind the ears with her free hand*

Dagnir: *relaxing*

Baini: *nuzzles her chin*

Nuala: We have to do something about this. We can't hide forever.

Dagnir: I no can go to my human *upset* they know I go there

Nuala: *frowns deeply* Well, you can stay here for the time being.

Dagnir: *scoots over to curl up against her leg*

Nuala: *pets Dag* It's not easy, is it? But we'll pull through.

Dagnir: *little nod* killed all of them!

Nuala: But they didn't get you, or the little ones.

Dagnir: No. I fight them off

Nuala: That was very brave.

Dagnir: *purrrrrrrr*
